„Advancement Award“ of the "European Foundation for Culture Pro Europa"
We are very proud to announce, the winner of the „Advancement Award“ of the "European Foundation for Culture Pro Europa" is:
Iva Kovic from Lebanon with her video installation „Bullets Revisited“ (2013).
The European Foundation for Culture "Pro Europa" has awarded this price for the first time in cooperation with the „OSTRALE Festival for contemporary Arts“. Iva Kovic participated in the „IAM international art moves“ workshop at the „ALBA, Academie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts, UoB., Beirut, Lebanon“ in November 2014 and the attendant IAM exhibition in June 2015 at the „Kunstquartier Bethanien“ in Berlin. Her video installation „Bullets Revisited“ was presented in this exhibition and choosen to be presented furthermore in the context of the IAM best off selection at the OSTRALE´015 in Dresden.
